How can I track my order? After placing an order with Derma Sleep and once we have completed and processed your pillowcase, you will receive an email with shipping details from DHL. This email will also contain a link that allows you to track your order.
What are the shipping costs at Derma Sleep? Shipping for deliveries within Germany is free of charge. For shipping to Switzerland or Austria, there is a shipping fee of €10 per order.
Why does the Impressum mention Campus Affair GmbH? Derma Sleep is a brand of Campus Affair GmbH. The name originates from the developer's college days when he wrote his thesis on an online marketplace for students.
Why is a laundry bag included with the pillowcase? The pillowcases from Derma Sleep have an exceptionally soft and textured surface. To protect them from lint of different colors and from sharp edges or zippers of other textiles, we include an additional laundry bag. Therefore, your own pillowcase zipper should be closed during cleaning to ensure you can enjoy your new cover for as long as possible.
How do I clean the pillowcase? The silky bamboo jacquard requires special care: Hand washing in cold water is preferred. With the zipper closed in the extra laundry bag provided, you can also machine wash it at max. 30° and max. 600 rotations. Dry on the line. Do not bleach or iron. Softener is not necessary for bamboo.
How sustainable is the pillowcase? The pillowcase remains usable even after the nanosilver effect diminishes. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial as it contains a bioactive substance called "Kun," which inhibits the growth of bacteria on the fiber's surface. Bamboo-Kun substance is a natural substance that protects the bamboo plant from bacterial and fungal infestation. During the manufacturing process, this substance remains in the fabric. This protects the bamboo fabric from bacteria that would otherwise cause sweat to start smelling unpleasant and leave permanent stains on the laundry. Bacteria are killed, disinfected, and the entire product remains somewhat antiseptic even after about 50 wash cycles. Unpleasant odors are guaranteed to be prevented.
Where is the pillowcase manufactured? We are proud that all pillowcases from Derma Sleep are made in Germany for our customers. Each piece is thus unique - individual, just like the needs of our customers.
My pillow size is unfortunately not available - can I still get a pillowcase from Derma Sleep? All pillowcases from Derma Sleep are hand-sewn in Germany for you. Therefore, it may happen that not all standardized dimensions are always in stock. No problem, because we are a workshop! This means you can also order unique pieces from us, which we will tailor exactly to your wishes.
Are the pillowcases available in other colors? Our pillowcases are currently only available in a very beautiful beige tone. But please send us your color preferences, and as soon as we add other colors to our range, we will think of you.
Is the nanosilver used safe for my skin? The nanosilver used by us is selected by the OECD as the global standard reference material and meets the highest standards. The impregnation with nanosilver exclusively affects the bamboo fiber structure and thus does not penetrate the deep pores of the natural skin flora.
Can I continue to use my pillowcase after 50 washes? Bamboo is naturally antibacterial as it contains a bioactive substance called "Kun," which inhibits the growth of bacteria on the fiber's surface. Therefore, your cover can continue to be used without any problems.
Why can't I return the pillowcase from Derma Sleep? We want to offer our customers possibly the cleanest pillow in the world. A pillow on which nobody has ever lain. And since the cover was developed primarily for various skin conditions, we cannot justify selling a cover twice.
How long does it take to manufacture and deliver my pillowcase? It depends on whether your desired size is currently in stock or is being specially made for you. If your cover is in stock, it will usually be shipped within 2-3 days. Otherwise, it should not take longer than a week for your cover to be shipped.
